Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli (born 11 March 2008, popularly known as KP Oli) is a 41-year-old politician and current Prime Minister of Nepal. [1] Are [2]. He has been Nepal's Home Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister at different times. Oli Bikram was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa Constituency No. 6 in 2048 BS and from Jhapa Constituency No. 2 in 2059 BS. Similarly, Oli was the Home Minister from 2051 BS to 2052 BS. Oli was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2064 BS to 2065 BS. Representing the CPN-UML, he was elected as the 38th Prime Minister of Nepal on September 8, 2008.
Family biography
Khadga Prasad Oli was born as the son of Babu Mohan Prasad Oli and Madhu Oli on Saturday, March 26, 2008 in Eva village of Tehrathum district. Oli, who entered communist politics in 2022 BS, had joined the Communist Party of Nepal in 2026 BS. He was one of the leaders of the Jhapa movement in 2028 BS, the same year he was imprisoned. [6] Oli had spent 14 years in jail from 2028 BS to 2044 BS during his struggle against the Panchayat system. Oli was elected to the House of Representatives from Jhapa District Constituency No. 6 in the general elections of 2048 BS, 2051 BS and 2056 BS. In the first Constituent Assembly election of 2064 BS, he was defeated from Constituency No. 7 of Jhapa. He became a member of the Standing Committee of the CPN (UML) in 2049 BS. He has been elected from Jhapa Constituency No. 7 on behalf of CPN-UML in the second Constituent Assembly Election 2070 BS. He is currently the leader of the CPN (UML) parliamentary party. Starting school life in Jhapa, Oli completed his studies up to class 4 in the village. Oli passed the Bikram Samvat 2028 Entrance Examination (SLC) from Adarsh Secondary School, Jhapa. He is adept at mixing humor with proverbs. Oli is currently a permanent resident of Anantalingeshwor Municipality-2, Balkot, Bhaktapur.
