 Telecom brings 'warm offer in winter', 300 MB free every day


 Nepal Telecom has brought a warm offer for FTTH customers in the winter.  Under the plan, 300 MB of data per day on mobile phones of FTTH service customers who take an annual package of 20 Mbps or more is provided as a warm offer in FTTH-Winter, the company said.


 According to the company, the offer has been implemented since January 1.


 Connect the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) line to get an annual package of 20 Mbps or more, upgrade the previous package to an annual package of 20 Mbps or more and renew the same package for one year.  Is  Similarly, CPE required for FTTH connection and drop fiber up to 100 meters will also be available free of cost, the company said.


 For this, the customer has to mention his mobile number in the customer contact number of the FTTH application form.  Already existing customers will be able to make their mobile number available at the nearest telecommunication office.  After the FTTH connection, 300 MB free data can be activated daily by dialing * 1416 # and following the instructions received.  This data can be used 24 hours a day on all types of 2G / 3G / 4G networks.


 Once the daily free data is activated on the mobile, 300 MB of data will be automatically available on the number every day for one year for free.  Institutional customers will also be able to activate free data packs on mobile just like individual customers.


 The company has stated that a new FTTH line will be connected and a 20 Mbps unlimited internet package for one year will cost a total of Rs 13,000 including all taxes.  This offer is available in 20 Mbps services including 25, 50 and 60 Mbps services provided by the company.


 Customers who take FTTH-warm offer in winter will be able to use the facility for Rs. 13,000 annually.  According to the company, the offer includes 300 Mbps data daily (current price more than Rs 10,000 per year), free CPE (current price Rs 2,825) and 100 meters of drop fiber (current price Rs 1,000) for a total of Rs.  Concessions amounting to more than Rs 13,000 will be received.


 FTTH is currently providing high speed data services and voice services.  The service will be more popular in the near future after the company provides IPTV service.
